Alphameric, the fully listed provider of end to end solutions for the Leisure and Hospitality sectors, today announced that it had signed a long-term contract to implement Caterwide, its web based ERP solution, with PizzaExpress, part of the Gondola Group, the leading UK casual dining group.

PizzaExpress will deploy the solution across its 335 strong UK estate commencing in August 2008.

The project will deliver the benefits of web based ordering and stock control, integrated with other Caterwide web application modules such as cash control, and advanced business intelligence to all PizzaExpress restaurants. PizzaExpress will also be installing InnTouch, Alphameric Solutions latest release of the established integrated touch screen tilling application on new tilling hardware. Alphameric will also provide implementation services, training, support and a hosted solution for initial data set up.

John Sullivan Director for Group IT of Gondola Holdings commented:
Having conducted an extensive review of the marketplace we selected Alphameric based on the strength and depth of its products, level of services, its industry expertise and its ability to deliver a smooth deployment of its web based solution, tilling and hardware to our PizzaExpress restaurants. The team at Alphameric has spent a significant amount of time understanding our business and was able visibly to demonstrate the business benefits and high level of functionality their web based solution would bring to our restaurants.

Alan Morcombe, Alphamerics Group Chief Executive commented:
Alphameric has again demonstrated its ability to provide cutting edge technology to the hospitality market. Caterwide enables our customers to gain operational efficiencies, profit improvement and tangible payback on the cost of investment. We are delighted to be working with such a respected and established brand as PizzaExpress.
