Fenwick chooses Sanderson for major EPoS system

Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software solutions to the retail industry, has won a significant contract to provide the Retail-J technology solution to the department store group, Fenwick.

Founded in 1882, Fenwick is a premier independent UK department store group. These range from full line department stores to more focused fashion and accessory outlets. Sanderson is providing the Retail-J solution to all ten of their department stores across the UK.

Having used their previous retail management system for approximately seven years, Fenwick became increasingly restricted by the functional limitations. The companys commitment to evolutionary expansion meant their current system was not developing in line with the business objectives.

Within the contract, Sanderson is replacing 650 tills and supplying 850 licences across Fenwicks estate. The implementation encompasses everything from software and hardware supply, to configuration workshops, training, go-live support and decommissioning of the original hardware. As part of the contract, Sanderson is providing Fenwick with 3rd and 4th level support services including technical call diagnosis, quality assurance and product testing.
