Portaltech, a leading UK eCommerce Systems Integrator and Consultancy, have announced that it will be sharing the stage with retail industry leaders Long Tall Sally and Royal Mail, to address visitors to this years Internet World event in London (28 30 April) on the key issues surrounding the future of online retailing and e-commerce for UK businesses.

Participating in two speaking sessions at the event Portaltech will look at how enterprise architectures are driving the next generation of e-commerce and multichannel solutions. The first session to be held at 1200 on 28 April is an industry panel event with audience participation which will examine how retailers need to respond in order to get the most value and business return from new solutions coming to the market.   For this session, Andrew Shapin, Chief Executive of Long Tall Sally and Simon Spears, former head of eBusiness at the Royal Mail, will provide their web channel experience on the issues being discussed and how Portaltech is helping them to maximise their investment in these areas.

The second session is being held at 1400 on 28 April and is being presented by Portaltech customer Andrew Shapin, Chief Executive of Long Tall Sally.  In this presentation, Andrew will be discussing Long Tall Sallys new e-commerce platform, how its usability and conversion has been impacted through its web re-platform and the real ROI achieved from its implementation.

Andrew Walker, CEO of Portaltech, commented: Internet World is a critical event for Portaltech and the industry at large and we are delighted that two of our key customers have agreed to speak with us at these sessions.  We hope that the presentations will help UK retailers gain some insight into choosing the correct e-commerce platform to support current and future business decision - especially in the current market conditions - and highlight developments in the industry of which all forward-thinking retailers need to be aware.
