JDA Software Group has announced that the JDA Pricing & Revenue Management onference 2010 will show attendees how advanced revenue management technology can optimise pricing for perishable inventory such as cargo capacity, passenger seats or rooms based on fluctuations in consumer demand.

Featuring Customer-Led Sessions, New Solution Demonstrations  Innovative, customer-led sessions that will be featured at the JDA Pricing & Revenue Management Conference 2010 include:  Laura Freeland, vice president of cargo revenue management, American Airlines Cargo, will discuss the importance of organisational change management when implementing a new revenue management system. Suzanne Donnelly, head of revenue at East Coast Mainline Co. Ltd., will share how leveraging an advanced price optimisation solution enabled the UK rail operator to increase forecast accuracy, leading to improved revenue generation.

Maria Harti, chief executive officer of iDTGV, a high-speed rail operator in France, will discuss the companys process for determining the best price for seats to maximise sales.

An executive from JDA will present the benefits that Carlson Hotels Worldwide, a leading hotel operator with more than 700 properties in 74 countries, realised during the first year of a multi-phased roll out of JDAs Travel Price Optimizer solution.

Steve Swope, chairman and chief executive officer of Rubicon Consulting, a leading provider of competitive market intelligence, market analysis and revenue management services for the global travel industry, will share his expertise on Market Aware Pricing.
