EPoS Distributor, the York-based Specialist Retail IT distributor, reports that it has become sole UK distributor for Q-Guide, a customer flow management solution which provides a fair and relaxed queuing experience for customers that will organise any queue from chaos to order. The range consists of the Q-Guide 200, 400 and 400+ units providing an opportunity to EPoS resellers to be part of a new and emerging segment within the UK market.

The Q-Guide 200 unit is the fast, simple and fair queuing system which is ideal for businesses with one linear queue served by up to three sales counters. Customers will benefit from an organised shopping experience where they are served quickly and smoothly. The Q-Guide 200 increases staff efficiency, improves customer satisfaction and produces additional sales with in-queue merchandising. The Q-Guide 200 is a quick and easy to install boxed solution and contains three terminal pads complete with batteries, a number display with wall brackets and a power source.

The Q-Guide 400 unit provides a simple, easy to use and affordable ticket queuing system. Customers take a ticket and are encouraged to browse around the store which also increases sales by adding the opportunity for extra browsing time. The number of people queuing and waiting times are recorded and monitored to ensure a stress free queuing environment, which can ultimately increase efficiency. Service levels can be adjusted according to customer demands creating a positive purchasing environment.

The Q-Guide 400 is packaged as a complete solution which includes the ticket printer with a 7" LCD touch screen, a number display and the staff terminal. Personalised promotional messages can be designed for both the LCD touch screen and tickets, as well as choose between 80 installed pictures for different work environments. The screen can also be strategically placed in store to create additional sales opportunities. Wall mounts, cables, ticket roll, relays and switches are also included, there is no need to buy anything else! Installation is quick, easy and no specialist technical skills are required for set up.

The Q-Guide 400 can be upgraded to accommodate two separate queues. The Q-Guide 400+ Expansion Kit is also available which can assist segmenting new and existing customers or alternatively if you wanted to differentiate your customers into sales and service for example.

The Q-Guide systems can be integrated into a number of applications including retail markets, small public areas, dental care, transport, welfare offices, ticket shops, pharmacies, essentially anywhere with a queue.
