Tyco, provider of retail performance and security solutions, will be exhibiting at Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) 2015 on the 10th and 11th March in London. The company will be demonstrating its latest inventory visibility application and RFID technology, which together can provide retailers with timely and accurate stock information to make better business decisions.

After joining forces with global management consulting firm Kurt Salmon and digital partner Mobispoke, Tyco Retail Solutions will arm retailers at RBTE 2015 with the ideal blend of expertise and technology, giving them the complete set of tools necessary to maximise in-store performance and by extension - customer experience.

With more than 12,000 retail industry colleagues set to attend, the event will provide attendees with the opportunity to view Tyco's second-generation of RFID solutions; which provide real-time visibility for inventory and assets, essentially improving operations and optimising profitability.

The Tyco stand will also feature demonstrations of the new Sensormatic RFID Antenna, which can track merchandise in fitting rooms and compare what is sold with what is returned to inventory. From a loss prevention perspective, retailers would have visibility to merchandise entering a fitting room but not sold and no longer in inventory, which could identify shrink level down to an individual item. With this approach, retailers can locate items that are left in the fitting room and therefore not available on the sales floor.

Attendees will also be able to view the latest dual technology Sensormatic AM/RFID pedestal, a high-performance device combining industry-leading Sensormatic EAS security with RFID technology for unprecedented storefront, item level shrink visibility. This insight provides retailers a complete picture of loss, with a detailed explanation of what, when and how specific items go missing. Armed with this actionable data, retailers can replenish missing products in a timely manner, thereby reducing out-of-stocks and increasing customer satisfaction.

"RBTE 2015 offers outstanding networking opportunities, and as an exhibition that prides itself on identifying contemporary retail trends, it is an ideal platform for us to launch our new Sensormatic and RFID retail solutions," explained Steve Howell, Retail Business Director at Tyco. "Our knowledgeable and experienced team will be on hand to talk through all the innovations on display – and crucially – how these can improve overall business operations."
