GoInStore, UK-based creator of a first-person shopping experience for online customers, has won the Mage Titans' Innovation Award at Mage Titans 2015, sponsored by Sage Pay.

GoInStore was honoured at Mage Titans' second successful conference designed for Magento developers, held on 7th November at the Comedy Store, Manchester. Mage Titans is the first conference presenting the fast growing developer community in the North, enhancing Manchester's reputation as a digital city.

The Mage Titans' Innovation Award is given to highlight technological advancement and encourage the creation of original ideas within the Magento developer community. GoInStore was named the winner after being shortlisted against six successful nominees. The innovation of GoInStore's solution stood out from the other candidates, with the judges impressed by the unique, immersive experience GoInStore delivers to online customers. GoInStore allows web customers to interact with products and the store environment in real-time, via the "viewpoint" of an in-store sales assistant equipped with the latest wearable smart glasses and handheld technology.

Co-Founder of GoInStore Andre Hordagoda said: "To win the Mage Titans Innovation Award is a fantastic honour for GoInStore – our first industry award and, we hope, the first of many. We are grateful to the Mage Titans judges for recognising the game-changing nature of the GoInStore solution, the huge potential of which is just beginning to be realised by retailers."
