This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: Sana Commerce named Microsoft Dynamics ISV Partner of the Year.

Sana Commerce has been crowned Microsoft's Independent Software Vendor of 2017 for Western Europe.

The award is in recognition for Sana's demonstrable high level of skills and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics products, along with strong sales performance and high levels of customer satisfaction. The accolade, made in front of a global audience of channel partners at Microsoft Inspire in Washington last week, also included an invite for Sana to join Microsoft Inner Circle.

"Partners are essential to Microsoft's success. This collaboration with Sana Commerce offers clients an e-commerce solution that enables them to undergo their own digital transformation while continuing to benefit from Microsoft's innovations," says Ron Augustus, Director of MKB Solutions and Partners for Microsoft.

The two awards recognise Sana's e-commerce solution as a market-leading platform for companies looking to deliver a webstore. Sana is built to directly integrate with Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV and GP, amongst other ERP systems, so it can utilise companies' existing business logic and data to deliver a more personalised customer experience. When Microsoft started the Technology Adoption Programme for the then Project Madeira, later known as Dynamics 365, Sana was one of the first ISVs available for Microsoft's cloud-based ERP system on AppSource.

Michiel Schipperus, CEO at Sana, comments, "We were honoured to be shortlisted for these accolades, and couldn't have been happier when it was announced that we had secured the win. This is incredible recognition for our team, and I'm very proud of this achievement."

The achievements follow a series of nominations for channel industry awards, including Best Channel Project of the Year for Sana's work with customer Zorgservice XL, and Most Successful Partner Network Extension of the Year – both from ChannelWeb magazine in Sana's home market. Sana has also been shortlisted for two Netherlands Computable awards – one for Software Supplier of the Year and for Michiel Schipperus as CEO of the Year.

In February Sana was named on Inc.com's list of 5000 Europe for 2017 – a list of the fastest-growing, privately held companies in Europe.

The recent Microsoft awards are granted to the software giant's most strategic partners. Microsoft's Inner Circle is an elite group who are selected based on growth, innovation and a strong commitment to both customers and business excellence. ISV of the year is given to organisations able to demonstrate a strong relationship with the Microsoft Dynamics community.
