3200 Linear Imager Provides Quality Scanning Performance and Ergonomic Design at an Affordable Price

This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: Honeywell introduces a new entry-level barcode scanner.

Honeywell has launched the new 3200 Linear Image Scanner, an entry-level scanner designed for use in a wide variety of linear scanning applications.

Part of a comprehensive suite of linear and 2D handheld image scanning solutions, the 3200 is designed for basic linear barcode scanning applications, including point-of-sale, manufacturing work-in-process and document processing.

The 3200s functional, easy-to-use design features a comfortable pistol-style grip and user-preferred index finger trigger. Its solid-state design with no internal moving parts is proven to sustain twenty-five 1.2m (4-foot) drops and is backed by a two-year limited warranty. Based on linear imaging technology, the 3200s broad depth of field and fast barcode reading abilities combine to deliver versatile scanning performance.

We designed the 3200 for customers who need a no-frills, reliable scanning technology that matches their budget, says John Izzo, Product Manager, Imaging Systems, Honeywell Imaging and Mobility. Pick up a 3200 and you can feel that we didnt sacrifice the ergonomics and ease-of-use that are core to Honeywells suite of handheld image scanning products. It delivers the right blend of usability and reliability for customers whose applications require more than just an affordable solution.
