London based organic food store, Planet Organic has selected VPoS, an Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) system from VoiteQ to provide them with the IT foundation they require to achieve their ambitious plans for growth.
Planet Organic currently have three stores, with two additional stores due to open this summer, but have plans to rapidly expand to thirteen stores over the next few years.
The decision was made that a new EPoS solution was required to provide the business with a strong platform to cope with the plans for rapid growth and to provide the central visibility required to effectively manage and control the business. Planet Organic therefore made the decision to implement VoiteQs CentriQ Business Management System, enabling them to manage the stores from the head office, along with the VPoS point of sale application for the stores.
Founded by Rene Elliott in 1995, Planet Organic has transformed the retail scene by opening the first supermarket selling only natural and organic food. Planet Organic was the UK's first fully certified organic supermarket of its kind when it first opened its flagship store in Notting Hill, London. The first store to install the new system will be Fulham, with the remaining stores following shortly after the initial implementation. The fully integrated end-to-end VoiteQ solution will provide Planet Organic with comprehensive business controls from the head office. This will enable the management team to continually monitor the business and make important growth decisions.
