The New Range includes silent fanless products.

Andrea Percival, director of Maxa Technologies (Maxatec) said: "This new range of POS terminals will allow us to enter the Hospitality market now as well as the retail sector. Percival added; "Our growing reseller base for POS products is driving a demand for a broader range of POS terminals. We also recognise that there is a need for certain necessary features that come with POS terminals, such as offering a number of communication ports (it varies between products) and to make sure they are all richly populated when compared with other similar products on the market today".

The GT series is a cost effective POS Systems solution with high functionality and reliability and easy upgrade options. Maxatec will offer the 15" TFT display with Touch Panel tilt angle from 0~70 degree, which means it has maximum flexibility and convenience. All I/O connectors are covered under the rear cover to provide easier maintenance and better cable management. The POS GFT- 120/150 Series is a high performance all in one fan-free touch screen POS terminal. The fanless system is designed for applications in low noise environments. A major feature is the tool free maintenance, which provides obvious ease of use and saves time and energy.

Percival added: "Other key advantages, apart from the tool free maintenance, are that the POS products are modular so it's possible to add on MSR, 2nd displays and WiFi at a later date "

The modularized design includes; 2nd screen, MSR, sound speakers, 3-in-1, MSR/ Smart card/ i-Button Reader, VFD customer display, WiFi and RFID all of which can be easily integrated.

With the smallest footprint in the POS PC series, the fanless BOX delivers a tremendous amount of power in a compact design for an extremely affordable price. This cost-effective PC fanless BOX system can be configured as a thick-client, stand-alone solution or a thin-client, centrally controlled workstation. The PC Box has an option for 2 x VGA ports (when there is a requirement for multiple LCD monitors)

The GFT/GT series is available with a choice of bezels and accessories in matt black, shiny black and silver.
