Based on AMD M690E Chipset with embedded ATI X1270 Core Graphics, the NDiS 162 boasts very high-resolution graphics (up to 1920 x 1080) with support for multi-screen display and dual DVI/audio. Due to its ultra slim size, the NDiS 162 can be easily mounted behind large LCD screens. In addition, its fan-less design reportedly makes the NDiS 162 both highly reliable and extremely quiet perfect for 24/7 operation.

The versatile NDiS 162 supports most multimedia file formats including MPEG1/2/3/4, WMA, WMV, SWF, AVI, JPG, GIF, RAW DV and Quick Time. To enable a wider range of applications to be considered the NDiS 162 can support dual display with DVI + DVI, DVI + VGA, or DVI + TV-out options.

I/O interface options include GbE LAN (RJ-45), USB and Serial port (RS-232) with storage via a 2.5 SATA HDD or CF card.

These features make the NDiS 162 suitable for a wide variety of digital signage applications within retail, education, public information, entertainment, health care and transportation.
