This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: Long Tall Sally selects Eurostop systems for stores nationwide.

Eurostop, a leading supplier of retail systems to the Fashion, Footwear and General Merchandise sector, announced that it has supplied Head Office retail management information system e-rmis to Long Tall Sally, the UKs leading retailer for clothing for tall women in the UK. Long Tall Sally uses Eurostops solution to capture sales across its 21 stores nationwide, as well as monitor stock across its successful catalogue and online business.

The company has invested in Eurostop e-rmis head office management for point of sale, stock control, monitoring and reporting. It chose Eurostops systems as a result of Eurostops proven experience in the retail market. Over ninety employees at Long Tall Sally, based in the warehouse, head office and in each of the stores now use the Eurostop systems.

Sales data is captured at tillpoint using e-pos and fed through to the head office system. Long Tall Sally has two pools of stock, one to support the mail order business and the other for the stores. Integrating the stock systems with Eurostops solution enables the company to deploy stock across both its retail outlets and mail order. It gives an accurate picture of stock levels at each of the branches, helping to reduce shrinkage and to meet customer demand.

Long Tall Sally also uses the auto-replenish functionality within Eurostops system to ensure that stock levels are topped up in stores as required to pre-set maximum levels. The management team adjusts levels towards the end of the season to ensure that stock is phased out with new collections.

According to Tim Williams, Financial Director at Long Tall Sally; With the Eurostop system the task of stock replenishment is not only so much easier, but also more efficient. We are able to control stock levels much easier at the end of the season, so that we are able to manage the demand and supply more effectively. It helps us to ensure that we do not overstock as we move into the next season styles.

Mr Williams added, Eurostop systems are comprehensive and for the range of functionality supplied they are extremely good value.

Phillip Moylan, Sales and Marketing Manager at Eurostop Systems said; Eurostops systems have been designed to help retailers manage stock efficiently across multiple channels. Being able to monitor hot sellers and replenish stocks to meet demand is vital for retailers to be able to maximise sales while minimising the amount of money tied up in stock.
