Dimar SpA, a grocery retailer under Selex Gruppo Commerciale, one of Italys top national supermarket conglomerates, has selected JDA Advanced Store Replenishment to enhance inventory management, increase product availability and improve customer service.

Founded in 1973, Dimar is a multi-channel company that operates approximately 100 food and drug stores in the northwest region of Italy of varying formats including supermarkets, mini-markets, hypermarkets and discount, as well as wholesale cash & carry.

After improving store space and product assortment with the use of JDAs Category Management solutions, including JDA Space Planning and JDA Floor Planning, Dimar selected JDA Advanced Store Replenishment to support its retail initiatives, streamline replenishment processes and create accurate forecasted demand, explained Livio Bernocco, director of IT, Dimar SpA.
