A Yorkshire e-procurement software developer has clinched a contract with a nationwide stationery buying group. Leeds-based Ebnus.com, which has launched an easy-to-use tool that enables companies to offer online sales, has been commissioned by Hertfordshire-based Office Club which manages a network of more than 280 independent specialist suppliers of stationery and office products.

Initially focused on 20 dealers, the flexible and cost-effective white-label system will support Office Clubs expansion into online retailing. It has been developed by entrepreneur Rose Stewart whose track record includes setting up, growing and selling an IT consumables business and driving a company from scratch to a 2m turnover within 10 years.

Said Stewart: Office Club has recognised the power of online retailing to reach new customers, and to offer an expanded product portfolio. The white-label system enables the business to quickly and easily manage product data information centrally, provide real-time reports on sales across its entire network and add an unlimited number of sub sites for dealers each of whom can create a personalised site to meet their own branding requirements and personal taste.

Ebnus e-commerce and e-procurement software is a white-label platform that allows distributors and wholesalers to share product data with their dealer clients, manage stock centrally and create an unlimited number of sub-sites for themselves or resellers. The e-procurement module also displays client contract pricing to give a quick reference overview of the relationship.

The sites have full back office integration and can be tailored to match the branding of each dealer. The product uses the latest software architecture to offer current and future compatibility across different platforms including mobile phones and portable PCs.
