InnoTeletek CW30 Series handheld computer for today's mobile workforce

InnoTeletek, a developer and manufacturer of versatile mobile computers, has announced the global launch of the Catchwell CW30 Series handheld computer.

Designed for a wide range of data collection tasks, the powerful and feature-rich CW30 Series is particularly suited for users that are constantly on the move; such as those in field service, stock management, postal and parcel delivery. The device offers a set of features that bring real benefits to organisations and measurable return on investment in a form factor said to be ideal for sustained single handed multi-hour operation.

Based around a powerful 806MHz platform, the CW30 is supplied with built-in high speed WLAN using 802.11b/g complete with industry standard encryption and authentication security capability. The 4 radios in one design also features Bluetooth(R), GPS and wireless WAN. GSM/GPRS, WCDMA (also known as UMTS), CDMA and1xEv-DO (Rev. A) are featured, ensuring a comprehensive level of enterprise connectivity and functionality.

A choice of the very latest Windows(R) Mobile 6.5 or Windows CE 5.0 operating platform, is claimed to ensure stability and the CW30 is offered with either a 1-D laser or 2-D imager dependent on the user's data capture requirements. The unit also has a high capacity battery (4,400mAH) more than capable of handling an 8 hour shift.

A 3M Pixel autofocus digital camera provides all that is needed for those critical proofs of delivery applications and its operating ability irrespective of lighting conditions makes this hand-held device a suitable choice for parking and other law enforcement applications.

The CW30 Series is a device built for service. It has an IP54 rating and is able to withstand the rigours of the environments for which it was intended.
