Ed Vaizey, Member of Parliament for Wantage and Didcot and Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries visited the Didcot offices of K3 Retail, provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology, recently and officially opened the company's Innovation Centre. K3 Retail has created a suite which replicates a retail store environment. Within the area there is a checkout, tills, and a self service kiosk, where visitors can look items up, read reviews and reserve items for collection.

Colin Bain, Managing Director at K3 Retail, said: "This is an exciting time for K3 Retail. The Innovation Centre is an area we are extremely proud of and gives us the ability to demonstrate a real store scenario to our visitors. Here they can witness first-hand the benefits our technology can offer to their businesses. We were delighted that Ed Vaizey was able to join us to officially open this area."
