Gio-Goi, the multi-award winning British young fashion brand which is sold and distributed in the UK and Europe, has selected a complete retail solution from K3 Retail, the UK provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology to drive its business.

British label Gio-Goi is famously worn by a new generation of Brit Rock stars, including Plan B.  With its rock star pals and library of late-night tales, the brand's cool swagger is as authentic as it gets.

Gio-Goi has just opened its first UK store in Aberdeen, Scotland and chose K3 Retail to manage its EPOS requirements and back office functionality for reporting and store sales with the rest of its business, and multi-channel trading.

Alan Swain, Finance Director at Gio-Goi, said, "When we evaluated the market for a single systems provider, it became clear that K3 has extensive knowledge and experience in both retail and wholesale, and understands multi-channel retailing.  We wanted to look at one systems provider to manage all our store requirements both retail and wholesale.  K3 educated us and explained what their solution would deliver to our business."

K3 Retail was selected because Gio-Goi needed a technology partner that could help it deliver a fully integrated approach to its business and build quickly.  Swain continued, "When we began talking to K3 we made it clear that we needed a system in place for the store opening in Aberdeen.  We want our store staff to have access to real time stock information, and improved communication between the store and head office and by working with K3 we are confident we will be able to achieve this."

John Little, Sales Director, K3 Retail, said, "Gio-Goi isn't just a retail company, they are a well-respected brand and one way to showcase their brand is by having presence on the high street.  This requires systems in place to fully support the business and we are delighted that they have chosen K3 Retail to help them on this exciting journey."

The retailer plans to open a further ten stores in 2011 and will look to K3 to implement a new finance and wholesale system to support this growth. K3 will also work with Gio-Goi to improve its on line business to provide a seamless multi-channel experience.
