Ergonomic Solutions, a designer and supplier of mounting and security solutions within the retail sector, has announced the availability of its SafeGuard mounting solution for the Apple iPad product.
The iPad and other tablet devices have transformed the manner in which we use mobile technology and have led to a reassessment of the traditional approach to commercial technology integration, and especially within the retail sector. The iPad was not designed for retail of course, but its rich functionality combined with a simple to use interface has seen it provide a real alternative to traditional mobile retail technology solutions right across the store.

Therefore, Ergonomic Solutions SafeGuard products are a unique combination - providing robust anti-theft protection whilst bringing an aesthetic design with a high level of functionality.
The SafeGuard solutions for iPad are available in two formats SafeGuard Frame and SafeGuard Clamps. Featuring the patented friction pad and MultiGrip plate, the SafeGuard Frame product comes in an anodized aluminium finish. The design prevents full access to the home button, power button and volume controls. Power, speaker and data cable protection are standard as are peripheral key lock mounting options. The frame's design is also in keeping with the state of the art looks of the iPad and ensures that the fashion conscious retailer loses nothing of the 'buzz' of utilising the iPad within the store.
The SafeGuard Clamp comes with two options depending on the amount of access required to the iPad home button. Both clamp designs come with power, speaker and data cable protection along with peripheral key lock mounting options. As with the frame option, the Clamps are supplied with all fixings that are required.
These products have been subject to rigorous testing at one of Europe's leading WiFi testing facilities and it has been proven that the total average performance of the iPad is not notably affected by either clamp or frame design.
The SafeGuard products comply with VESA 75/100 mounting standards and can easily be incorporated in the SpacePole Essentials range and are suitable for either portrait or landscape mounting. Moreover, both the clamp and frame designs are suitable for DuraTilt desk mounting and can also be wall mounted in portrait or landscape position.
