Quest Software, Inc. is helping home electrical retailer, Comet, improve its online customer shopping experience by providing application performance monitoring and management tools.


 
Focused on delivering a seamless experience for its growing number of online customers and to ensure its ecommerce platform is ready for increased demand, Comet turned to Quest and selected its Foglight application performance monitoring solution to help solve its challenges.
 
By using Foglight, Comet can record, replay and analyse the customer journey, and proactively react to any bottlenecks pinpointed by the solution. Foglight automatically identifies and resolves any service availability or performance issue before it can impact Comet's online customers, and significantly reduces the time required to deal with issues. Comet will also benefit from cost savings generated by streamlining tools and optimising its hardware.

Comet has 248 stores throughout the UK, offering a wider range of electrical products. Comet.co.uk offers customers a convenient shopping experience, allowing them to shop online, reserve and collect items in store. Quest was selected after a competitive tender process where it was acknowledged for its track-record of delivering robust features in its Foglight solution, including low-level diagnostics, security and analytics.
