Retail expert delivers secret to optimised retailing in six minutes flat

MD of CTS Retail Scott Storey is set to explain the secrets behind optimised retailing in a customer centric age in just six minutes, with a 'Pecha Kucha' presentation at the Retail Business Technology Expo.

Pecha Kucha (Japanese phrase similar to 'chit chat') is a presentation methodology in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each usually as part of a multiple-speaker event. This year, the organisers of the Retail Business Technology Expo have opened a Pecha Kucha theatre, focusing entirely on this short bullet-point style presentation.

Scott Storey, Managing Director of CTS Retail will be delivering his thoughts on achieving optimised retailing and is currently preparing for the fast-paced style of Pecha Kucha. During his presentation, Scott will focus on the practicalities of "Optimised Retailing Today", what are the emerging trends and what savy retailers are putting in place now to determine their future.  

His 20 second slides hope to challenge retailers on issues such as What areas to focus on over the next 12-18 months to increase sales and manage operating costs, how to exploit mobile devices to best effect, maximising customer engagement and continued loyalty and how relevant social media is to the customer conversation.

Scott commented: "When the Retail Business Technology Expo asked me to present a Pecha Kucha on optimised retailing, I was intrigued by the process and have enjoyed creating a presentation that fits in with the style. I think it's a great way for the delegates to gain bitesized information on a wide range of topics."

Scott will be presenting at 10am Tuesday the 13th and 12.40 on Wednesday the 14th in the Pecha Kucha theatre.
