Retalix showed retailers how to provide the ultimate mobile shopping experience at Retail Business Technology Expo

Retalix Ltd., the provider of software and services for high-volume, high complexity retailers, showed UK retailers how to provide their customers with the ultimate mobile shopping experience, at the recent Retail Business Technology Expo. Retalix demonstrated the full capabilities of its Retalix 10 Store Suite, including the new Mobile Shopper application and the UK launch of Retalix 10 Inventory Manager solution.

The Mobile Shopper is a powerful application that retailers can offer their customers enabling them to manage their shopping anywhere and at any time. Using their mobile devices, customers are able to quickly and easily find store locations, access product information and pricing, view special offers, scan items, manage shopping lists, perform payments, and more.

Retalix Mobile Shopper is part of the Retalix 10 Store Suite that had been already adopted by leading global retailers in Europe and North America. It delivers a consistent and personalised shopping experience across all touch points and sales channels including POS, self-checkout, self-scanning, customer scale, customer kiosk and fuel sales, as well as a range of store and chain management applications.

The Inventory Manager is a new Retalix 10 module that was launched in the UK at the Expo. This software solution provides extensive inventory management capabilities and links with demand analytics and replenishment to provide retailers with real-time visibility of operational inventory and perpetual financial values across every store and location. The Inventory Manager can be deployed centrally at store-level, or as a cloud-based solution.

Retalix also participated in the education programme at the Expo. Sales Manager at Retalix, Andy Charrington, hosted a seminar in the Pecha Kucha theatre entitled 'Optimising Replenishment'. During the session Charrington explained how a demand-driven replenishment approach provides high-volume, high complexity retailers with the ability to minimise lost sales from out-of-stocks, lower excess inventory costs and significantly reduce spoilage.

In the Pecha Kucha theatre Charrington presented 'Getting Retail Future Ready'. This seminar provided retailers with insight in to how they can free themselves from the restraints of legacy IT systems, by taking advantage of innovative technologies that can deliver superior and differentiated customer experience across multiple touch points and channels.
