Amid the complexity of the services supply chain industry, Centrex Services has announced a new partnership that it believes will provide the basis of a true end to end service for IT maintenance.
The agreement with Retail Service Team (RST) Ltd, a retail and hospitality service and project business is the last piece of the labyrinthine channel that maintains technology and EPoS systems for companies across the UK.
Centrex will immediately integrate RST's current maintenance business and infrastructure, but continue to operate as independent partners over the next twelve months. Centrex will continue its tenacious development and operational activity supporting partners' maintenance activity, while RST focuses on project and roll outs through the same channel.
Glyn Dodd, Managing Director of Centrex Services explains, "It's a critical time for the retail and hospitality technology service industry and there are a number of exciting opportunities for innovative and lean integrated supply chain partners. It was clear for us that maintenance and roll out services are a natural fit as a proposition, but yet require a different set of operational infrastructure and competences. This partnership ensures that RST and Centrex`s cost bases are directly aligned to the respective activity whilst being able to offer its channel partners a total value for money solution."
David Chicken Managing Director of RST adds, "This is a great move for RST and its client base. Through Centrex Services' maintenance delivery we can offer our clients significant improvements in our levels of cost and performance, as well as develop our roll out and project management proposition across the Centrex client base."
