Box Technologies' membership in the Windows Embedded Partner Program acknowledges the company's expertise in delivering handheld device data capture solutions for field force workers in a range of mission critical applications within the retail, public sector, utilities, transportation and logistics verticals.
Microsoft's Windows Embedded family of products provides a flexible and customisable platform for product development and embedded software in a wide range of industries. It provides one trusted platform enabling enterprises to extend their intelligence across devices and increase business opportunities by connecting data in real time across a diverse set of technologies. Applications which require the use of ruggedised handhelds and tablets or other types of data capture devices are ideally suited for development through the Windows Embedded platforms, providing the familiarity and reliability of the Windows operating system.
