Visitors to Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) 2013 will be able to experience RFID in a hands on environment and see for themselves the benefits that the technology delivers retailers in the RFID Zone at RBTE.

RFID solution provider Nordic ID, along with partners Avery IT, Cegid and Toshiba Tec will be providing a one-stop-shop for the very best advice, software, hardware products and servicing around RFID.   Visitors to the RFID Zone (stand 440) will get the opportunity to talk to retailers who have rolled-out RFID across their stores and learn about their experiences and how their improved stock accuracy has led to better customer satisfaction and helped improve sales and profitability.

Mark Tailford, Managing Director, Nordic ID, said: "Our passion for wireless technology drove us to initiate RFID development over ten years ago and since 2006 we have equipped 70% of all European Apparel RFID pilots and roll-outs.  We firmly believe that all major brands and retailers will have adopted RFID by 2016 – and we think visitors to the RFID Zone may be surprised to hear that RFID isn't just for high value goods anymore!"
The RFID Zone will also give visitors the chance to come and try RFID for themselves, with real demo's, showing how quick and efficient RFID scanning is.

John Coughlan of Avery IT commented: "Avery IT have a long standing relationship with Nordic ID, offering consultation, installation and technical support services for their handheld terminals, scanners and RFID devices. Customers visiting the RFID zone can count on us for help and advice on how to maximise the efficiency of their RFID, PoS or IT systems."
