This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: K3 Retail continues to attract the best 'Retail People' with new multichannel role.

K3 Retail has appointed Max Way as Head of Multichannel Retail to further develop its position as a leading authority and enabler in the world of multichannel retail.

The role was created to ensure the K3 team broadens and deepens knowledge across all areas of retail; from marketing to finance and supply chain, through to PCI compliance and customer service excellence - adding value to customer projects through prior and on-going strategy support.

Max Way, Head of Multichannel Retail at K3 Retail, said: "I will continue to maintain cutting-edge knowledge of what's happening in multichannel retail, forging relationships with retail leaders and like-minded companies. This will enable me to provide a resource to call upon, especially for those clients that don't have the multichannel expertise in-house. My aim is to become a retail product evangelist – responsible for ensuring that products and functionality developed in partnership with Microsoft are aligned with UK retail and our customer's requirements."

Max brings more than 13 years of experience in the retail technology sector, having started in the industry with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Industrial (Product) Design. His experience spans marketing, distance selling and multichannel operational management. Having previously worked for Junction Solutions prior to and during the time that it transferred over to HSO, where he started as a Marketing Director and progressed to become a Senior Consultant of Multichannel Retail.

Prior to this position Max worked within retail as Marketing Director of Baker Ross where he was responsible for shifting the business dependence from the traditional catalogue marketing activity to one that was more focused on the online proposition. This offered perspective and an understanding of the challenges on the other side of the fence.
