Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) and Eccomplished, the retail tech business accelerator, have announced the companies that are taking part in The Retail Innovation Theatre at RBTE, sponsored by Epson.

The companies currently selected include: BoscaBox, Donky, EDITD, Feefo, Intelligent Reach, ITAB Shop Products, Kiosked, MarketHub, Ometria, Pensio, Scurri, SMARTASSISTANT, Sayduck, StoreEnabler, Stylefinch, Talkdesk, YESpay and ZAPA with more to come.

Matt Bradley, Event Director, RBTE, said, "The Retail Innovation Theatre is the brain child of RBTE and Eccomplished in recognition of the importance of innovation in today's fast changing and challenging retail environment.  You don't need to go anywhere else to see the very best innovation on offer for retail."

Companies were selected by a steering committee of retail tech thought leaders based on how their proposed solutions and ideas addressed the biggest challenges that retailers currently face.

There will be three streams on both days of RBTE.   Each session will be introduced by leading retailers, including Nick Wheeler, Owner of Charles Tyrwhitt, who will provide an outline of the challenge, and then open the floor to the Innovators who will present and demonstrate their ideas, solutions and products.   These sessions will be interactive, so all the challenges will include a lively Q&A session, followed by networking.

Matt James, at Eccomplished, said, "Both our organisations are passionate about retail and we're constantly impressed by the amazing innovations and entrepreneurs that we come across on a daily basis. All of the companies selected have the potential to dramatically change and improve the way retailers operate.  The Innovation Theatre at RBTE gives these companies a stage to showcase their new and innovative technology."

"We love retail and that's why we are championing innovation- we think retail is the most exciting and dynamic industry to be a part of at the moment, and we believe that the people who work in retail deserve an event where they can celebrate the ground breaking innovation available to help run their business even better.   We're putting the razzle dazzle back into retail," Bradley continued.
