Maxatec has announced a new agreement with Husky Computers, a brand with a great history for providing leading technology and rugged mobile computers for the harshest of environments. The Husky7 is a rugged – IP67, MIL-STD810F – and lightweight 7-inch tablet PC featuring a fracture-resistant TFT IPS designed for use in all light conditions. The Husky 7 is designed for easy integration with enterprise applications, offers

a range of communications options, and its dual-core, energy-efficient 1.6GHz, ARM Cortex-A9 processor provides all the power that is needed for multitasking and without draining the 5000mAh Li-PO battery, which should give more than eight hours of useful working life each charge. There is a 2MP front facing camera and a 5MP rear camera for image capture and multiple communication options available.
