OVH reinforces its strategic partnership with VMware for its dedicated Cloud services

OVH has signed a new agreement with virtualisation company VMware in relation to its vCloud Air Network programme. This agreement confirms the desire of the two groups to work more closely together. Common strategies will be adopted in co-innovation and co-marketing.

"This agreement is an important milestone in our partnership. It affirms our common intention to offer optimum hybrid cloud solutions under the best possible conditions for our clients. OVH and VMware will thus reinforce both the services and support that they offer," stated Laurent Allard, CEO of OVH.com.

"OVH offers based on VMware solutions continue to exceed our expectations" said Geoff Waters, Vice President, Service Provider Channel, VMware. "Due to their capacity to innovate, OVH is a major strategic partner within our vCloud Air Network ecosystem of which we rely on to serve our customers worldwide. The beneficiary of these solutions is the customer and we are delighted to further strengthen our relationship with OVH."

Partners since the launch of Dedicated Cloud in 2010, OVH and VMware have maintained close relations, giving rise to such a novel concepts as "OVH Academy", technical training sessions adapted to customers' needs. This agreement marks a new step in this alliance. To date, very few companies worldwide have signed a similar agreement with VMware.
