Tyco Retail Solutions showcases AM/RFID detection system for next generation store performance

Tyco Retail Solutions is showcasing its Sensormatic Synergy Series, a finalist for "Best New Product" Award, at RFID Journal LIVE! in Orlando, FL from 3-5 May.

This next-generation portfolio of intelligent, modular and network-enabled detection systems brings together RFID, Acousto-Magnetic (AM), traffic and video analytics technologies. By leveraging the power of multiple technologies connected in one system, the Sensormatic Synergy Series helps retailers optimise store performance, while enhancing loss prevention capabilities.

The system provides a clear and cost-effective migration path for retailers from electronic article surveillance (EAS) to RFID technology, driving increased store intelligence, optimal retailer value and real-time visibility. The system's advanced RFID functionality provides item-level inventory and storefront shrink visibility, supplying retailers with the on-demand data needed to operate more efficiently and profitably.
