LLamasoft, the supply chain design software solutions provider, will welcome supply chain practitioners from numerous industries to the sixth annual SummerCon conference, June 15-17 at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans, Louisiana US.

This year's event will feature nearly 30 breakout sessions, including case studies from customers, partners and other industry experts. The conference will be preceded by two days of pre-conference training, where supply chain practitioners can receive hands-on training on the latest innovations in supply chain technology. With a mind for pushing innovation forward and challenging the current thinking process for users, the theme for this year's conference is "What's Your Move?"

The conference will offer keynote addresses from Garry Kasparov, former world champion chess player, Tom Kelley, partner at IDEO and Jeffrey Baxter, innovation expert and music legend. Customer presenters include Caterpillar, C.H. Robinson, Cisco Services, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, IKEA and Mondelēz, among others.

SummerCon will offer the Supply Chain Design Expo Hall where leading vendors from throughout the supply chain industry can share their offerings and provide demonstrations to attendees. Multiple networking opportunities and a look ahead at the LLamasoft product roadmap are also highly anticipated features of the event.

"The LLamasoft supply chain community continues to grow with every year, as does our annual conference," said Don Hicks, President and CEO of LLamasoft. "This gathering offers a wonderful opportunity to bring together organisations who are pushing the status quo of supply chain operations to further collaborate, innovate and demonstrate the value supply chain design and planning offers across an organisation, and to celebrate those achievements."
