A UK clothing retailer, started nearly 30 years ago by two enthusiastic surfer brothers, has turned to award-winning cloud business solutions provider Eureka Solutions and NetSuite to help take the business to a whole new level.

Saltrock Surfwear was founded in Cornwall in 1988 by South Africans Angus and Ross Thompson who were travelling the world to surf. Now based in Devon, the company has been transformed into a significant clothing enterprise focused around a casual beach lifestyle with scores of branded stores, mostly in the south of England. Its products sell in hundreds of outlets in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Saltrock also has a substantial online business delivering to international customers outside Europe and employs around 400 people.

The fast-growing retailer asked Eureka Solutions to provide a cloud-based NetSuite Financials system to replace its current accounting software. The project also involves implementing Eureka Solutions' own NetSuite integration module, Data Exchange, to seamlessly integrate their retail and ecommerce systems with NetSuite.

Stephen Harvey, CFO of Saltrock, said: "Essentially, we had outgrown our accounting system and were looking to implement a modern, scalable solution which could automate our processes and provide advanced financial reporting.

"Data Exchange from Eureka Solutions will automate the integration with our other business systems. This will save time and ensure accuracy, and means we will have the information and KPIs we need at the press of a button."

Eureka Solutions currently has over 1,900 live contracts, employs 50 people at its new East Kilbride HQ and are predicting double digit growth over the next fiscal year.
