Leading Neapolitan sourdough pizza brand Franco Manca, owned by restaurant group Fulham Shore, has added mobile and web ordering options to its customer offering following bespoke integration work with Intelligent Business Systems (IBS).

Franco Manca's dedicated mobile and web ordering system links real-time with IBS's POSLink EPOS technology and StockLink back office software for sales and stock management, order tracking and reporting. The solution can be used for takeaways and gift cards sales using MyCheck's Click & Collect online payment platform.

The solution allows Franco Manca restaurant managers to choose the daily specials for each restaurant via POSlink. Selected specials are updated automatically on the mobile and web ordering sites. All orders from online customers are automatically sent real-time to the EPOS and the kitchen with sales and stock updated at the same time.

"Launching new revenue streams like mobile and web ordering is quick and easy working with IBS as our primary technology partner," said Finance Director Nick Wong, who is responsible for IT and online presence for the group. "One of the key benefits from our point of view is the fact IBS are trusted by the entire Fulham Shore team to deliver time and time again as technology evolves. We have known and worked with them for many years. Our operation and management teams are familiar with their POSLink and StockLink solutions and are happy using the systems. IBS provides the common platform for all our brands and will do so in the future, whenever we roll out new brand concepts."

"They make running separate businesses a lot easier as all the group's brands share the same reporting procedures and benefit from clear economies of scale. They are very proactive and will help design new reports and work with new data streams to give us a different angle and additional insights into our business," said Nick Wong, who is planning to roll out further customer engagement solutions across the entire estate using IBS technology in the near future.

"Our solutions are designed to streamline platforms and systems so clients can place the customer experience at the heart of everything they do," said IBS managing director Gareth Powell. "We help hospitality retailers achieve a seamless omnichannel customer experience through cross-channel data synchronisation, easy promotions and loyalty programmes. Fully automated and operating 100% in the cloud, our systems free them up to provide an enhanced level of personal customer service."

Fulham Shore currently owns and operates three leading restaurant businesses, the 12-site Real Greek (TRG), serving delicious and healthy dishes from Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean, and the 34-site Franco Manca (FM), specialising in Neapolitan sourdough pizzas baked in wood burning brick ovens and one Bukowski Grill, serving delicious breakfasts, burgers and grills. A further three TRG and 13 FM sites are to be opened within the next year. Intelligent Business Systems EPOS solutions and technology are installed in all these 60 sites.

IBS works with well-known multi-site brands like Cirrus Inns, EAT, GBK, Harry Ramsden's, Itsu, Mark Warner, MEATliquor, Peach Pub Co, POD, Revolution Bars Group, Rick Stein, Spudulike and Vital Ingredient. Its 100% cloud-based EPOS-driven solutions are tailored to specific client requirements.
