This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: 3C Payment's Integra Pay@Counter terminal solution achieves Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Payment Interface for Oracle Hospitality.

3C Payment a Gold Level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of the 3C Integra Pay@Counter terminal solution with Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) version 6.1.

3C Payment offers a feature rich, secure payment processing platform with multiple front end cross channel solutions that can route transactions to any major acquirer. With this latest integration, the 3C Integra Pay@Counter terminals communicate with the Oracle Simphony 2.x or RES 5.x hosted server directly over the merchants' local network through the OPI driver installed on the merchant's workstation or on the Oracle hosted server above property.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. For Quick Service merchants, the high transaction speed, contactless certification, integration across Serial (RS232 or USB) in addition to full offline capability ensures security and speed of transactions at all times.

The first merchants to benefit from this integration will go live in August 2017 in the UK and the Netherlands with Verifone Vx820 devices certified with acquiring banks Elavon and Barclaycard. The solution is validated with Verifone Vx820 and Vx680 as well as with Worldline Yomani and Yoximo.

"The validation of this integration to the Oracle Partner Interface (OPI) v6.1 extends our wide range of flexible deployment options to meet the specific needs of quick service retail and food &beverage merchants," comments Tim Goodwin, Chief Operating Officer, 3C Payment.

"Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between 3C Integra and Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) version 6.1. is functionally sound and performs as tested," said David Hicks, vice president, Worldwide ISV, OEM and Java Business Development, Oracle. "For solutions deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner's integrated offering."

As market leaders within the Hotel & Leisure industry 3C Payment offers customers the benefit of either a local on-site or an innovative cloud based architecture allowing for seamless transaction flows and a choice of industry certified terminal devices with proactive terminal management support across multiple countries. A real time portal gives central visibility and control of all transactions and even allows users to centrally manage refunds and pre-authorisations.
