Fashion retailer’s seamless new digital strategy triggers success

Luxury clothing brand Jules B has experienced a 40% revenue increase after revamping its digital marketing strategy.

With more people opting to shop online than ever before, the fashion retailer required an improved online presence to make the most out of this sales boosting opportunity. In turn, leading e-Commerce agency, Visualsoft, was brought on board to increase its digital presence and boost brand awareness in both the UK and internationally.

To stand out in the increasingly competitive retail market, Visualsoft overhauled the design of the website and implemented a 360 degree marketing approach, using PPC, SEO and affiliate marketing tactics.

To kick-start the project, PPC was used to increase international brand awareness and catch the attention of a wider range of shoppers, by boosting the reach of overseas campaigns. The SEO team then focused on creating relevant, eye-catching content to create noise around the brand and help drive sales. This included creating an engaging video, illustrating the key style trends throughout the decade, which was distributed to influential fashion publications. Both of these tactics successfully caught the attention of prospective shoppers and triggered advantageous results.

These online improvements not only bolstered revenue figures, but also triggered an impressive 50% transactions increase and a 35% spike in traffic to its website.

Charlie Bailey, online marketing strategist at Visualsoft, said: "Retail is an increasingly competitive sector, which is why even established brands like Jules B need to do everything they can to stand out from the crowd. With consumers increasingly turning to e-retail to spend their money, it was clear that the brand needed to improve its online presence in order to effectively capture the attention of prospective buyers. By altering its digital marketing strategy to target international markets, rather than just the UK, we were confident we would see a wave of positive results. We have high hopes these improvements will continue to bring about increased revenue figures throughout 2018."

Visualsoft provides bespoke eCommerce solutions to over 1,000 retailers, including Montane, Lakes Distillery and Joshua James, and is committed to helping businesses grow online. The company operates an innovative payment structure, Shared Success, in which clients are charged on a percentage of their increased online sales, rather than by an upfront or fixed fee.
