Following its successful debut at ISE 2018, ISE 2019 sees the return Jointly organised by Integrated Systems Events and invidis consulting, the Digital Signage Summit (DSS) returns to ISE for the third time at ISE 2019. The half day conference takes place on 6 February at the Okura Hotel Amsterdam, just a few minutes from the RAI Exhibition Centre.

“One hundred and fifty senior executives from throughout the digital signage value chain are expected to take advantage of the unique perspectives the Digital Signage Summit has become known for delivering,” said Mike Blackman, Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events. “With another year of growth behind it, and exciting developments on the digital signage horizon, it promises to be no less of a must-attend event – especially for enterprises either using or planning to use digital signage, and new entrants into the market. System integrators, digital signage suppliers and AV and IT experts interested in digital signage cannot afford to miss this conference.”

DSS ISE 2019 will focus on sensor- and data-driven solutions, which are increasingly becoming the backbone of digital signage. invidis and industry experts will present the latest market figures, identify trends in retail and commercial projects as well as discuss how complementing sensor-triggered and data-driven solutions add value to digital signage.

“The last 12 months has seen digital signage become a $7 billion industry in EMEA alone,” said Florian Rotberg, managing director of digital signage research company invidis consulting and DSS Conference Chair. “We’ve seen 55” screens becoming the new norm; LED is starting to encroach on what was once LCD territory, especially in videowalls; and, increasingly, digital signage is now part of a wider, omnichannel marketing strategy.”

“As always,” he continued, “ISE will be a great show for the digital signage industry. I’m looking forward to seeing more affordable fine pitch LED; more solutions featuring AI; new special purpose displays; even brighter laser projectors; new business models; and more experience marketing features.”

Once again, DSS will kick off with the invidis keynote which will deliver insights into trends and drivers, strategies and an overview of relevant M&A activities. An Intel keynote will cover trends and drivers in IoT and how IoT solutions complement digital signage. Sean Wargo, AVIXA’s Senior Director for Market Intelligence, will present the results of AVIXA’s research.
