This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: Canon strengthens partner opportunity with an all-in-one cartridge colour printer and completed third generation, 3rd edition imageRUNNER ADVANCE portfolio.

Opening up greater opportunities for partners, Canon Europe is strengthening its third generation, 3rd edition platform, with the addition of an all-in-one cartridge-based A4 colour printer, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C475.

Alongside that, 3rd edition upgrades to our mono cartridge range, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 525, 615 and 715, means our best of breed security features, latest Unified Firmware Platform and uniFLOW Online Express software are now available across the new wider portfolio.

Opportunity for growth

“Expanding our all-in-one cartridge proposition allows users to experience fast, quality colour print at speeds you’d traditionally expect from an A3 model, but with a more compact footprint, easy maintenance and a smaller investment. Opening up a larger opportunity for incremental sales, partners will be able to effortlessly incorporate these devices into their fleet and MPS offerings thanks to the consistency across the portfolio, particularly in terms of security, firmware and cloud connectivity.” explains James Pittick, Director of B2B Indirect Sales at Canon UK.

Having a sufficiently competitive offering to service the variety of office environments you’re dealing with on a daily basis can be a challenge.  With the introduction of our compelling new colour cartridge device and the sturdy upgrades to our existing cartridge technology, your revenue growth opportunity is significantly increased.  Not only are you benefitting from the ability to offer best-in-class security and cloud connectivity features across an even greater range of devices, the high speed, longer life parts and overall ease-of-use of these new models mean a stronger productivity and serviceability proposition for your end customers.

What’s more, these new introductions bring with them an advanced toner management system that provides accurate alerts designed to ensure end users make the most of their toner and only swap the cartridges out when truly needed. As a result, this makes the whole setup easy for your customers to manage directly, allowing you to redirect valuable engineer time to focusing on essential fixes and upsell opportunities.

Pittick continues, “The sheer breadth and consistency of our imageRUNNER ADVANCE portfolio means we really do have a solution suitable for every customer situation, especially with the added strength of our new and updated cartridge models opening up more business opportunities. While our partner proposition remains the same, they can now benefit from devices that are faster and easier to service.  Our partners can tap into this flexibility and scalability to enhance mixed fleet setups, deliver a robust managed print solution and ensure reliability and consistency in situations where other Canon devices are already in use.”
