Tripwire, Inc., the global provider of security and compliance solutions for enterprises and industrial organisations, has announced the next generation of Tripwire Connect, which consolidates data from both Tripwire Enterprise and Tripwire IP360 to provide a single view of security and compliance states, and can be deployed both on-premises and as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application.
The new version of the Tripwire Connect analytics, reporting, integration and management platform delivers scalable, flexible and centralised vision into the data collected by Tripwire Enterprise for security configuration management (SCM) and file integrity monitoring (FIM) and Tripwire IP360 for vulnerability management (VM).
“To help security teams manage the complexity of a growing attack surface and ever-evolving threats, we built Tripwire Connect to provide better intelligence into potential security issues,” said Tim Erlin, vice president of product management and strategy at Tripwire. “By integrating data more comprehensively, the platform now delivers enhanced functionality to provide the most relevant and actionable information based on job roles and functions. We’re also excited to make it available as a SaaS offering for added deployment flexibility.”
With Tripwire Connect, customers can gain specific insight into how to prioritise vulnerabilities for remediation, compliance status, specific policy findings requiring action, historical trend and performance data, and more.
Highly customisable for specific audiences, Tripwire Connect can provide reports tailored specifically for users across security, IT operations and compliance teams, as well as executive summaries for the C-suite and board of directors.
