Datalogic will be working alongside its Platinum partner OEM Automatic during the Smart Factory exhibition 2019, taking place at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre on the 13th – 14th November.  Together, the companies will be showcasing Datalogic’s latest range of I-O Link sensors and complete solutions for Industry 4.0.

With manufacturers looking to optimise their operations by the data they are now able to collect, having a tailored product offering has never been so important. Datalogic’s new products to automatically control, process and track operations along any production line include smart sensors, image-based scanners, vision technology and robot guidance. 

Datalogic’s new generation of sensors will feature the company’s new ASIC, the IO-Link master device, available for Profinet and Ethernet-IP fieldbus connection, that will enable the S5N sensor and all the future Datalogic smart sensors to be connected from the machine to the cloud.

The range renewal begins with Datalogic's bestselling M18 tubular sensor line, which will be integrated into the new S5N product line with ASIC technology, becoming the first tubular sensor family with IO-Link V1.1 and smart sensor profile in the world.  The new S5N sensors have set the technical benchmark for IO-Link connected M18 sensors turning into a reference point for the Industry 4.0 connected world.

The Datalogic portfolio also includes application sensors with IO-Link connectivity such as the S65 TOF long distance background suppressor, S70 double display fiber optic amplifier with high performance high IO-Link programmability and, by the beginning of the next year, the S100 miniature family will be upgraded with new IO-Link models for transparent objects, background suppressor and mark reader.

When it comes to ensuring traceability throughout the manufacturing process and beyond into the supply chain, many of the world’s leading players in manufacturing use Datalogic’s products.
