Retail software vendor, Cegid, has that the Beaumanoir Group, the family-owned French fashion retail enterprises, has chosen its cloud-based unified commerce platform to equip the recently acquired apparel retail chain, La Halle, with some of the latest omnichannel and point-of-sale technologies.
Founded in 1981, the €1bn international fashion and distribution business - with brands including Morgan, Cache Cache, Bonobo, Bréal and Vib’s and numerous operations across Europe and China - has implemented various Cegid solutions across the group and wanted to bring in-line the 339stores from the La Halle apparel business. This move is part of the group’s strategy - announced by the CEO and founder of the Beaumanoir Group, Roland Beaumanoir - to inject new life into the business and help accelerate its shift towards more digital and omnichannel services for a better all-round customer experience.
Using the same systems and processes will enable La Halle to benefit from some of the synergies shared by other brands of the Beaumanoir Group.

The Cegid solution has already been deployed in over 2,800 stores in 40 countries to manage sales, customers and inventory. The group has also armed 900 store associates with mobile devices to improve customer service, cut down on waiting-times and improve efficiency. La Halle’s IT rollout kicked-off in July - at a rate of 25 to 30 stores a day - to reach a total of 339 stores.
