This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: BCMPA to shine a light on the rising role of ecommerce order fulfilment at IRX/eDX.

The BCMPA – the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics – will be exhibiting again at Internet Retailing Expo/eDelivery Expo on 11th and 12th May 2022 in Hall 2 at the NEC, promoting the increasingly essential role of its members in the provision of eCommerce and Order Fulfilment services.

The recent huge and lasting spike in Direct to Consumer (D2C) and eCommerce has led to growing numbers of retailers, brands and entrepreneurs looking to secure resilient and effective third-party fulfilment partners, and the BCMPA is excited to welcome visitors to Stand A3, to promote the capabilities of members in the fulfilment and 3PL sector.

With more than 100 exhibitors and a host of expert speakers, as well as brands registered to attend including Boots, Jigsaw, John Lewis, Pets at Home, and Specsavers, IRX and eDX are a key resource for businesses seeking third-party outsourcing solutions.

Also exhibiting at the event are BCMPA members, Huboo Technologies and PHL Fulfilment, providing visitors with an excellent opportunity for face-to-face advice.

Whether it’s online entrepreneurs and Amazon resellers looking to outsource their fulfilment as they look to cope with growth, or operations, logistics and warehouse managers of large retailers seeking to find new supply chain solutions, the BCMPA will be able to answer visitors’ questions, and identify outsourcing partners from the BCMPA membership.

From large brands to small start-ups, BCMPA members offer a wide range of support services from warehousing, pick & pack, order fulfilment and co-packing, to kitting, software integration and shipping. The BCMPA’s free online search facility helps to pinpoint the exact suppliers for the services required.

Rodney Steel, CEO of the BCMPA, is excited by the prospect of helping businesses meet the challenging issues of today’s rapidly growing internet retailing sector; “Clearly, there is no eCommerce without effective fulfilment, and therefore the need for third-party outsourcing has never been more important. This collaboration can be made easier by connecting with experienced suppliers. IRX and eDX are the perfect opportunity to meet customers face to face and we welcome visitors to stand A3 to find out how our members can help meet their eCommerce and Order Fulfilment needs.”
