Notcutts, the UK garden centre group, is introducing the Immediate Impact signage solution from Episys, a global information technology services company, at its restaurants to provide restaurant managers with control of all signage and greater flexibility.

Notcutts is already generating benefits from Immediate Impact in its 19 garden centre stores and decided to roll out the system in its restaurants. The labelling solution will provide customers with clear pricing on all food and drink as well as any offers or specials of the day.

Sarah Hyde, Marketing Manager at Notcutts, said, "Most of our garden centres have a restaurant on site and they are extremely popular with our customers.  They have become a must-visit part of the trip. The existing signage was not in line with how the brand was being promoted elsewhere in the store and was not consistent across all our restaurants. We tended to produce this centrally through a manual process. We want to deliver a proposition across all restaurants that will ensure the customer has a clear understanding of products available, promotional offers and special events."

Hyde continued, "We already have a good understanding of the benefits of Episys' solutions, so we know that introducing them into our restaurants will help brand consistency and clearer customer communication that will lead to higher sales."

Derek Buchanan, Chief Executive Officer at Episys said, "We are delighted that Notcutts is trialling our Immediate Impact system across the restaurants. In doing so Notcutts is able to provide its customers with clear, consistent pricing."
