This article is brought to you by Retail Technology Review: BMB Clothing strengthens Vodat connection by re-signing network management services.

BMB Clothing, one of the UK's most diverse menswear companies with 170 concessions and 35 of its own stores, has re-signed a contract with Vodat International, the communications solution provider to the retail industry, for a further three years, for the continued service and support of its fully managed MPLS network.

The re-sign includes installation of three new main circuits into their office locations in Leeds, Goole & Hartlepool including a new radio connection into Leeds. These new services will offer improved capacity and performance with exceptional fail over in the event of a main connection failure. Vodat has also provided additional capacity for a centrally managed internet breakout facility to improve internet access from the stores.

Mark Keeble, IT Support Manager at BMB, said, "We have been exceptionally happy with the service Vodat has provided since we initially switched over to them in 2009. They have always adapted very well to our business needs and accommodate any requirements we have. They have never let us down."

Keeble added, "Since moving across we have benefitted from improved connectivity speeds and increased bandwidth. They have always worked with us to resolve any issues meaning in the fast paced retail world we operate in, we are not left alone. Re-signing with Vodat was a no brainer for us."

BMB is currently trailing the use of iPads in one of its stores, allowing customers to view the full product range online. Its future plans include the introduction of Wi-Fi to the entire store estate.

Paul Leybourne, Head of Sales at Vodat International, said, "Having worked closely with BMB for two years, we have a deep understanding of their business needs, so we're delighted to renew our contract with them and continue delivering a reliable, secure connection. Our planned projects in the next phase of our work together will ensure this connection is even faster, so BMB can ultimately deliver supreme internet access not only for its staff, but for its in-store customers."
