OneView Commerce, the company that facilitates digital transformation in the store, has announced that Daniel Burch has accepted the position of Director of Strategy Transformation, based in OneView's London office. The position was created to support the expedited growth and delivery of OneView's global initiatives.

"Daniel will play a pivotal role in supporting OneView's business development by bridging omnichannel strategy, store operations and key partners, including IBM and hybris, the e-commerce subsidiary of SAP," said Linda Palanza, OneView COO. "His experience with disruptive retail technologies will be a significant asset to our customers and their channel partners."

Burch will work with retailers who see digital transformation as a major focus of their store strategy to articulate a roadmap toward delivering successful outcomes with OneView's proven capabilities. In addition, Burch will share OneView's leadership in digital transformation of the store through industry presentations and publications.

Burch brings more than 20 years of retail and IT experience to OneView, having held key senior management positions in Europe and the U.S. at Unlimited Solutions, NSB Retail, BT Expedite, Torex Retail, and most recently Quantum Retail Technology. During his seven years at Quantum he built and managed significant pipelines, regularly surpassing business goals. As global director of product and consulting Burch was tasked with standardizing implementation processes to define a market-leading solution and a standard, repeatable implementation process.

Burch spent his 10-year career with NSB Group on both sides of the pond. In the U.K. his expertise in market entry and business development for new software products and regions benefitted retailers including Kingfisher, Clarks, and Staples USA and Europe; as vice president of business development he worked with Nike Retail and orchestrated a multi-million dollar technology access agreement for a large global retailer. In the U.S., as project director for JC Penney, Burch managed all aspects of the client relationship and led the professional services and development teams.

OneView's cloud-based Digital Store Platform is a single, unified platform that breaks down siloes and enables retailers to share all valuable commerce data with every channel. Mobile deployment of the platform extends point-of-sale (POS) capability to virtually anywhere—associates in-store, pop up stores, and to retail apps that allow customers to use their own device.
