Agent Provocateur, the exclusive UK luxury lingerie retailer has selected K3, the UK's largest provider of Microsoft Dynamics to supply a new IT system to improve its product life cycle management, from planning, product design, manufacture and shipping, through to merchandising, allocation and replenishment.

The solution also provides critical path management, product data management and performance reporting along with supplier and franchise web portals to enable increased collaboration on orders and stock.

Andy Waters, Head of Commercial Operations, Agent Provocateur, said, "We chose K3 to provide and implement the Microsoft Dynamics solution as we need a system that can support a complex, multi-channel, multi-site, growing business. We have ambitious expansion plans and need a scaleable, multi-channel platform that will drive growth. K3 has the capability to provide international support and they are the right business partners to manage global franchises."

He continued, "The K3 solution is low risk, scaleable and will add value to our business. K3 have a great track record in supplying Microsoft based software that ticks all the boxes, supporting our existing portfolio that will grow with our business. We need a system that will be up and running and will use K3's experience to install in and manage the day to day running."

The K3 solution includes electronic point-of-sale (EPOS), merchandising, planning, warehouse, and business intelligence tools and the new system will help the retailer manage its sales and marketing divisions, and monitor finances. The K3 solution will integrate into the existing e-commerce solution. Currently Agent Provocateur is running the business using manual processes and Excel spreadsheets, which will not be able to support the company's expansion plans.

The project has started already, and is scheduled for June completion.
