Zebra Technologies Europe has announced two senior promotions affecting its EMEA sales organisation. These appointments reflect the company's continued success and growth across the region. 

Davide Guerra has been promoted to Director, EMEA Sales after a highly successful tenure as Regional Sales Manager for Italy. Davide is a veteran in the industry, having started his career as Product Manager and then Marketing Manager at one of Zebra's first Italian channel partners:  Bancolini Symbol. He also held positions as Product Manager at Datalogic and played a key role in the development of the network of channels partners across EMEA. His experience at Zebra Technologies spans across a number of roles which included working closely with partners as Channel and Alliance Manager in EMEA to setting up Zebra's office in Italy back in 2000 where he groomed and managed the local sales team in his position as Regional Sales Manager. Davide's primary focus in his new role will be to manage and support field based sales teams across the EMEA region.

Richard Knight, Director EMEA Supplies, will see a considerable expansion in his role. As he continues to grow the Zebra EMEA supplies business by improving processes and systems in the manufacturing, sales and operations, he will also now oversee the planning, forecasting and analysing of the company's overall EMEA business. Richard started his professional career in 1987 at Avery Dennison where he held a number of leadership roles, managing local and regional teams and leading multi-million projects. His background in finance and previous success in bringing Avery's UK Office Accessory and Filing business back to profitability within two years is particularly notable. Richard was also part of the European management team at Avery Dennison where he led a major supply chain project and established a significant manufacturing presence in Eastern Europe. He was then appointed to UK General Manager responsible for all office product lines. Richard joined Zebra as Director EMEA Supplies in May 2007.

The new appointment announcements follow the departure of Ashley Ford, Vice President Sales EMEA as he moves to North America to take up the position as VP, North America Sales.
