John and Mark will be responsible for working with major retailers across the UK and the rest of EMEA, to benchmark their operations and identify the specific value of RedPrairie's retail workforce and store execution management solutions within their organisations. John will also work with retail operations directors and resource planners to demonstrate how RedPrairie's solutions can help address issues and challenges including staff loyalty and retention, the cost effective resourcing of peak trading periods and the effective management of more flexible working patterns emerging out of new government legislation.
John said: "The demand for retail workforce management applications is growing steadily and, whilst the implementation of specialist software can bring about a rapid and radical improvement in productivity, accuracy and consistency, like any new initiative which impacts the workforce, it is also an area which requires careful handling and specialist expertise. In addition to providing software, RedPrairie has the expertise to help retailers manage cultural change and to ensure that new working practices are embraced by employees."
RedPrairie's Senior Vice President & Executive Director EMEA, Andrew Kirkwood said: "Both John and Mark have long and successful track records in retail and share RedPrairie's vision to ensure that retailers have the right people, with the right skills and the right product in the right place at the right time."
