RedPrairie strengthens EMEA retail team with new appointments

RedPrairie Corporation, a productivity solutions provider, has appointed John Bailey as Retail Industry Director and Mark Gauder as Sales Manager, UK Retail and Hospitality. John joins RedPrairie from enterprise workforce optimisation service and solution provider Verint. Prior to this, he held roles at Workplace Systems and Temposoft, working with major domestic and international retailers including Next, Marks & Spencer, J. Sainsbury, Co-operative Group and Metro Group. Having worked at companies including IBM, Microstrategy and SAP, Mark also brings a wealth of retail solutions experience to his new role.
 
John and Mark will be responsible for working with major retailers across the UK and the rest of EMEA, to benchmark their operations and identify the specific value of RedPrairie's retail workforce and store execution management solutions within their organisations.  John will also work with retail operations directors and resource planners to demonstrate how RedPrairie's solutions can help address issues and challenges including staff loyalty and retention, the cost effective resourcing of peak trading periods and the effective management of more flexible working patterns emerging out of new government legislation.
