Maginus wins 2 awards, including Campaign of the year award at B2B Marketing Awards

Maginus, provider of integrated software solutions for multi channel retail & distribution companies, scooped two awards at the 2010 B2B Marketing Awards, winning Best Brand Campaign for the launch of My Genius, and the overall Grand Prix Campaign of the year.



Russell Dorset, Sales & Marketing Director at Maginus, said, "We're so pleased that all the hard work that went into creating this campaign has been recognised.  We came up with the My Genius idea, as we wanted something really different to help us stand out from our competition. The response from our staff, our customers and in fact the whole market has been phenomenal. We are delighted."

My Genius is an avatar, a multi-channel guru who is Maginus's public face.  The My Genius campaign was launched in April 2009 at a number of industry events, supported by advertisements in selected trade publications and targeted mailing pieces. Advertising showed successful retailers and distributors who when asked the secret of their success, reveal "My Genius" as their answer with the headline "My Genius is helping me to grow my business".
 
The B2B Marketing Awards are designed to recognise excellence in the field of business-to-business marketing. The awards were launched in association with Information Arts in 2005, and have since grown to become the must-attend event in the B2B marketing calendar.  Over 700 client-side and agency-based practitioners attended the B2B Marketing Awards 2010 gala dinner, which was held at The Honourable Artillery Company in central London.
