Maginus, provider of multi-channel solutions for retail & B2B distribution companies, has acquired InfoData Solutions (IDS), the Business Intelligence (BI) specialist. The acquisition is a strategic move by Maginus to further strengthen the solutions the company provides to its retail and wholesale distribution clients.

InfoData Solutions specialises in delivering Business Intelligence solutions for Microsoft Dynamics and SQL users that turn data into business information. The company's solutions are based on a technology called ZAP BI for which it was one of the first companies to provide implementation services to the UK Dynamics market. ZAP provides tools that deliver a rapid BI and reporting suite to businesses to gain maximum effectiveness from their business solutions. It brings together data from a variety of sources whilst providing users with a range of pre-built solutions that are delivered rapidly in an easy to use format to gain maximum ROI not only on the BI solution but the business applications as well.
