Posiflex showcases latest innovations in POS and infotainment technology at GITEX 2015

Posiflex Technology, Inc., the global brand in the design and manufacture of POS solutions and peripherals, will be revealing its next generation engagement-oriented terminal technology at GITEX Technology Week 2015, the largest ICT event in the Middle East region.

The state-of-the-art HC-1521 infotainment terminal, which is due for launch later this year, will be on display. It features a large 21.5" LCD display with touch screen, built-in camera, and a wealth of connectivity options that allow for devices such as handset, TV tuner, fingerprint sensor, magnetic strip reader and 2D image scanner to be easily connected. This allows the terminal to provide rich infotainment content to the user whilst simultaneously collecting essential user data.

The terminal delivers a diverse, compelling interactive experience directly to end users, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. In healthcare environments, including hospitals, the terminal allows patients to enjoy the benefits of entertainment, phone and email communication, web access and meal ordering, whilst doctors are able to use the terminal to carry out visual consultations at the bedside. It is also perfect for use as a price checker and wall-mounted self-help booth in both retail and hospitality industries.

Commenting on the new terminal, Owen Chen, President and CEO at Posiflex Technology, Inc. says "Demand for engagement-oriented technology solutions which enhance the user experience is continuing to increase across all industry sectors. Posiflex is a world leader in cutting-edge POS systems and the concept of the HC-1521 terminal shows our commitment to staying at the forefront of this exciting sector as we move into 2016. "

Also on display from Posiflex at Gitex 2015 will be the MT-4008A, the newly unveiled, ground-breaking Android mobile POS solution as well as the company's full POS portfolio and Web Printer range.
